This class will explore and compare several book structures and how they might influence content and flow of thought or function.  With a minimum of tools, students will complete books using traditional Japanese binding, accordion structures, pamphlet stitch and a simple multiple section construction.  These books forms can be used for journals, personal narratives, artist books or blank books for gifts.  No experience necessary.  .  Bring ideas, questions, enthusiasm, notebook, lunch and beverage of choice.
